Open Study College

Heyy

Has anybody here studied with Open Study College??

So I want to study dental therapy but I need A levels however I’m 22 now so can’t do normal college.
I need biology and chemistry.

I was looking in Open Study College and came across a lot of reviews about them being scammers?
Can anybody pleaseee tell me their experience or please tell me how I can get these A-levels without being charged extortion😩

Thank you!!

Hi! I definitely don’t recommend open study college. They charge you more than they advertise and (in my experience) there is no communication from the tutors at all, and the company tries to make you sign up on a whim and then refuse to break the contract. I’m not sure how you’d be able to get a levels however signing up to open study college will set you back way more and will also empty your wallet 😕 unfortunately I only wasted my money and got no a levels from it.

Hi there, I was also looking at open study college but noticed that they were like almost double the price compared to others, they make the monthly amount appear to be less, but you pay over a longer period of time. Not sure if they are scammers though, just going based on that they are a rip off! But now my question is, has anyone heard of Association of learning? Are the legit? I’ve just signed up to do health and social care level 2 extended diploma, hoping once I’ve completed my course that there is an actual recognised certificate, their fees are much more reasonable

Hey there, I used them 3yrs ago when I was trying to apply for dentistry at 21 but didn't have a levels and honestly I'd recommend just getting private tutors. Their tutors barely communicate with you, whenever you ask them a question they'll send you a YouTube link that would "help you" instead of helping you themselves. Their resources are also not as detailed as they should be. If you can afford it, go for tutors on physics and maths tutor.

I know I’m so late to this but if I can help ANYONE, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have done two a levels from this company, their revision packs are completely disorganised, tutors do not respond OR help you in any way that you will need and they don’t stick to the exact Spec that you’ll need so you’ll be wasting time revising things that aren’t even applicable to the spec. If I could turn back time I would because I’ve wasted so much time and money on this and honestly it is a scam.
