Housemate has feelings for my friend?
I'm confused about my roommate. He recently met my friend and made a point to tell me she is attractive. I was distracted when he told me this so it didn't really register with me what he said and I didn't react. He made a point to tell me later on when I was more focused. But the thing is my friend lives in Dubai and was only visiting and has no plans on returning to the UK which he knows. Why does he feel the need to keep emphasising he likes her. He's a relationship guy too so he wouldn't be interested in anything short-term with my friend who has now returned to Dubai. I just don't understand why he has said it so much he really made a point out of wanting me to know, but it's not as if he wants me to put a good word in considering she lives in Dubai and that wouldn't exactly work out. We have a quite playful relationship too so I'm not sure if it's just a joke, but I don't know why he hasn't let it go yet.

if you know one of his mates just do the same girl

Why does there need to be a reason? Even if he's mentioned it a number of times, it just sounds like he's making conversation and I'm not sure why you'd give it a second thought unless he actually wants you to do something about it.

She made an impression, I guess he’ll get over it. Unless she visits you again, they fall in love and end up happily married
