Student finance and LSF

On the student finance form they are asking about grants from NHS and as I'm doing a healthcare course I'm receiving the LSF, so I said yes. It then said student finance won't give me a loan. I thought LSF didn't affect your loan?

Hi @Buen
You can receive the LSF as well as student finance, as the LSH is a non-means tested grant that shouldn't impact your student loan eligibility. It may be another reason so I'd advise contacting Student Finance England and get them to clarify. You can contact them on 0300 100 0607.

Did it ask about grants or the NHS Bursary? You need to go back and change your application as the bursary refers to the NHS Bursary for medical and dentistry students - it does not mean the NHS LSF.
