Colchester Accommodation

Hey there, I just wanted to ask about the atmosphere and availability of the accommodation on campus.

I do have Autism so it's difficult with a lot of people around or a lot of activity so I'd like to know what the quieter accommodation options are, and if there's any kind of system in place for people with my condition.

More specifically, I was looking at The Houses and South Courts. If anyone can tell me the vibes around these two, that would be appreciated!

Hiya,
Thank you for your question!

In this case I would recommend wither an en-suite or a self contained studio accommodation.

South Courts is a very friendly accomodation with en-suite rooms where you need to share the kitchen with other students. It is also known for being on of the part places on campus.

The Houses I would say is similar facilities to South Courts but I would say is slightly quieter.

I would say Pastures, Meadows and Copse are also good accommodations and they also include self-contained accommodations and as they are slightly away from main campus I consider them being quieter.

Bear in mind this also depends on the people you will leave with if you decide to be on a en-suite.
If you have the the chance visit us on one of our Open Days and have a look in person at the accommodations.
