Year Abroad: Changing course from 3 to 4 years
Hi there,
I am in my second year of univeristy and originally, I was doing a 3 year course. However, now I have applied and been confirmed for the Turing Scheme to study in the Netherlands for the full year (2025-2026).
This means my course is now 4 years and I need to reapply for my student finance for when I am in the Netherlands 25/26. I was told on the phone that I do not need my university to send a change of circumstances and that I just need to reapply as normal but state that I am on a 4 year course with a year abroad. However, I am currently filling on the application and cannot see where to do this. It just wants me to confirm that I am going into third year at my current university.

Hi there,
So when you are trying to do your application it wont allow you to change to the 4 year option of the course? Have you tried to change the course name as it may be different if it has a placement year?
