Durham Hill Colleges

Hey everyone,

I have firmed my Durham Law offer and now am deciding on potential colleges. I would love any input from students who have also applied for 2025 or are already Durham students. I know I want to be non-catered and I am looking for an en-suite. I went to an open day, and South college was my favourite. I mostly just want to get a vibe of the colleges that I can't quite gauge from the website.

Any feedback would be great thanks!

Self-catered Hill Colleges (South, John Snow, Josephine Butler and Stephenson) are younger and less formal. IMO the colleges are a bit "isolated communities" so students are quite close. South and John Snow are typical housing blocks. Josephine Butler and Stephenson are detached "villas" that makes unique living experience.

Hi I am also applying for 2025!
I wasn't able to visit Durham so I based my college ranking on videos I found online. I found this video and others by this youtuber to be super helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpeyUgXUc1E. And this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3NPNQrhnm4&pp=ygUQI2pvaG5zbm93Y29sbGVnZQ%3D%3D
