STP England 2025 - Medical Physics

Hello everyone, I am applying for the radiotherapy physics discipline in Scientist Training Programme, and was wondering whether anyone had any tips. I missed a few questions on the SJT test due to timing but still got longlisted. I am really worried it may affect my score overall though. Thank you in advance for any help

Hi. I thought I'd reply on this thread since it's smaller.

I am waiting for the shortlisting before I think too deeply about it. I am prioritising the parts of the UK I would be happy to live for three years if I am honest. I know some trusts are bigger then others so some you have to commute to other places to tick of certain competencies. I have some friends doing radiotherapy in Nottingham and Birmingham and they seem to be enjoying it! I know the Christie is good for nuc med and have also heard really good things about Clatterbridge. Not sure if that's helpful.

Also I don't think the SJT means much once you've been longlisted (to my knowledge).
