This is a good question but as has already been said, no one has the answer for this. During the clearing period, the entry grades usually fluctuate throughout the day, at one stage they can be rather low and as the course starts filling up the grades often increase so it may depend when you call.
From my experience in the clearing call centre, depending on when you call you might find it more challenging to find a place on your ideal course with a D but I honestly don't know. The best option would be to call us when you have your grades and we can see what is available and discuss the options with you.
