Do you have to inform universities if you are expecting to receive no reward?

I got unconditional offers to all the universities I have applied to. Recently, I was able to ‘drop’ advance higher art, I could not officially drop it as it was too late into the academic year but I was told they would basically turn nothing in and I would get ‘no award’. I did apply to my universities with advance higher art in my ‘to be completed’ subjects for S6. I am aware that I would need to inform universities if I dropped a subject after application and that they would take that into consideration (and may even revoke any offer given) but to my understanding I am simply fail/ getting no award, which I have no obligation to get high grades because I have an unconditional offer (no matter my academic outcome this year). Would I still have to tell them?

The unis made the unconditional offers based on your achieved qualifications. In other words they are prepared to admit you whatever results of your advanced higher exam would be. Otherwise they should have given conditional offers stating the advanced higher grades you need to achieve.

As the unis won't care your advanced higher, there is no need to tell or update them.

You do however need to update UCAS using this online form -
