Conditional offer deposit
Hello,
My daughter is an international student and as such to accept an offer she needs to pay a deposit.
She has a conditional offer at University of Essex. If she doesn't meet the conditions of the offer but the university offers her an alternative course (or foundation year) does she have to accept this or will she lose her deposit?
She doesn't want to do a foundation year or change her course. I'm still waiting on clarification from admissions on this, but wondering if any other international students have experience with this.

Its unlikely that anyone here will know the exact answer to this question, and you will need to contact the Admissions Team at Essex to ask them - [email protected]

Yes, I am still waiting for admissions to reply to me. I just figured I'd see if anyone else has an experience with this situation.

On this occasion this is a normal scenario where the university offer options in case students do not achieve the necessary entry requirements.
Regarding the refund there is this university page where you can get some information.
