2025 Uni Applicant - Firmed with Swansea uni but want to go to Cardiff Uni

Hi, so I’m doing an Access Course - specifically Access to Engineering. I’ve applied to uni for Computer Science (Swansea, uwe bristol, Gloucester, Portsmouth, bristol).I’ve got offers from all except Bristol, I was waiting for my results from the Bristol uni maths test before I decide because that was my first choice and I found out that I didn’t get in. Because of that I decided to firm with Swansea and put UWE Bristol as my insurance. But now I’ve been researching into Cardiff uni and I’m really interested in going. I spoke to UCAS and they told me to wait until clearing but would like to know if anyone has been accepted to Cardiff through clearing…specifically for computer science.

Comp Sci is competitive, especially at an RG Uni like Cardiff - and so its not likely to be in Clearing.
Do you know if Cardiff will accept the Access to HE course you are taking - and how confident are you that you would get the grades they require?
