QE or LAE stratford

I have the option to go to either of these 6th forms but I'm not sure which to go to.
QE is better in terms of academic support and university applications but LAE is much closer to me, has a better environment and has subject choices I would rather choose. LAE exam boards are also different and I'm wondering if that will cause me any problems. LAE and QE both have plenty of extra-curriculars but I think LAE seems more fun
Any advice on how to decide?

The different exam boards at LAE won’t be a problem as A-Levels are a new curriculum and GCSEs at that point are “assumed prior knowledge”. I’m terms of academic support, I go to Reading School and we have really good results but the teachers aren’t the best on the planet. A lot of the results are produced by hard-Woking students rather than the best teachers. I would definite recommend, based on what you’ve said to go to LAE:

1.

You’re spending your last 2 college years left at one of the schools so you want it to be funner.

2.

I doubt either school is much different in terms of academic support and most of the difference can be made up with you working a tiny bit harder out of school.

3.

Much closer, better environment and better subjects are extremely important reasons.

E.g I want to go to oxbridge for the reputation and academics but Imperial is very similar and offers the course I want so I’ll likely choose Imperial.
I, in your situation, would choose LAE but at the end of the day its all up to you - if you feel the academic support could be the difference between Oxbridge and non-oxbridge or Russel Group/non-Russel Group then if it’s that impactful pick QE
