maybe ask your teachers if they have any prelim past papers if you’ve not done them already? i generally found them to be a lot more challenging than the actual exam as well. I know it’s kinda different but for higher, out english teacher made us find an article then write our own questions on it to make a ‘mock’ ruae paper, maybe trying out something like that would be beneficial?

Scholar and achieve have resources for RUAE revision, so if your school uses them (it should at least use Scholar), you could check them out.

Achieve breaks down the question types and finds past paper questions (spanning back a while) for them.

You might be able to find other schools' revision resources and mock/prelim RUAE papers online. This is how I found a master-doc of Norman MacCaig.

I found a document by Denny School ( https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://dennyhighschool.co.uk/_documents/%255B697661%255DN5-English-RUAE-Support-Booklet.docx&ved=2ahUKEwjrpKzFksuMAxUdSUEAHYr2Ml8QFnoECB0QAQ&usg=AOvVaw0uYNNoILMEYIb83B9OEHXw ) that you might want to look over. I think there's past paper questions for each question type.

Save My Exams ( https://www.savemyexams.com/national-5/english/sqa/past-papers/ ) also has past papers up to 2018, which is more than the SQA website (only goes up to 2019). If you've not done the 2018 paper, then there's that.

Hope this helps 😊
