Which university is better? The University of Nottingham or the University of Bristol

I received an offer for Management from the University of Nottingham and an offer for Business Management from the University of Bristol. In the future, I want to work at companies like McKinsey, Bain, or Boston Consulting Group. For someone who wants to work in a consulting firm like these, which university would be a better choice? Which one is considered a target school?

Which do you think you will be happiest at and most likely to achieve your full potential on your course as well as have the time, energy and motivation to take advantage of opportunities beyond your studies?

Either university will be fine but an employer will employ YOU and your skills, knowledge, experience and attitude….not the name of your university

I’m pretty sure they’re both target.

Nottingham is quite a grim and dull city. It’s not a very nice city to wander around even though students who arrived from smaller towns and villages seem to love it. I walked in the city centre in the early evening as a young woman and felt uncomfortable. However, it’s also cheaper to live in. First year accom is on campus is all ££££ catered, so factor that. It gets cheap afterwards however. Transport is good. The main campus is lovely and it’s also very sporty.

Bristol on the other hand is a much nicer city, the university is in town in a very affluent area of Bristol. I felt much safer walking around student areas and in town in Bristol. Their accom is more spread out than Nottingham however, and it is much more pricey (second to London). I’d say it’s much more lovelier to live in Bristol than Nottingham (as someone who has lived in Nottingham). Bristol is top 10 and 54th (QS) in the world.
