Hi @Gottogetready

Thank you @normaw for tagging me in this post

I have made a previous post about this subject that I will leave a link to Monthly Spending Expenses as a Kingston Student - The Student Room
It is kind of an overview of what I spend in a month.

I also have a another post of ways to save at Kingston which you may also find useful
Ways to Save at Kingston University - The Student Room

I hope this helps and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask

Hi @Gottogetready

To add to what @Kingston Grace suggests in her linked post about ways to save money, there is also the Kingsgate student pantry in Kingston centre almost every Sunday (except holidays), where you can get a good amount of food worth £20-25 for only £5. It has really helped me out, especially when I first moved into Seething Wells halls of residence.

And just a little price difference for laundry at Seething Wells, a wash costs £3.40 (1-hour cycle) and drying is £1.90 (1-hour cycle + 20p for every extra 5 mins). The machines are big, so doing laundry every other week is doable, and adds up to £10.60 per month (or £21.20 for weekly laundry).

I hope this helps 🙂
