Skincare help

I'm trying to get into skincare now I'm 21 years old and have been struggling with acne since I was around 15. I've been on and off skincare over the years spends lots of money on different products cerave Korean Kiehl's neutrogena etc. recently I just decided to stop everything and start fresh I stopped my epiduo sunscreen everything I'm just trying one product at a time to see what works for me. I give a product about a week to work and if I see no extra acne and it makes me feel ok I keep it.

So far I found the moisturiser that works for me which is the illiyoon soothing gel I tried it for a few months. My current step is a cleanser I tried the cerave hydrating cleanser for around a week and found it really nice just I'm breaking out on my cheeks only so I'm unsure whether it's the cleanser or something else so gonna keep continuing. Once I find the right cleanser I'll then move onto an oil cleanser because I intend to buy a mineral sunscreen so oil cleansing will probably be needed and once I find the right oil cleanser I will then buy a sunscreen. Ofc each step can take time because I want to find the right one so I can go forward with it and not have to retrace what's causing breakout. How is my plan anything I should do?

a lot of sunscreens can give you acne so try the korean ones eg hur's weightless sun fluid, it's super light, nothing like your typical western sunscrean.
you could also add a retinol serum or tret, for antiaging purposes (prevention)

yeah some korean beauty products contain fermented ingredients which are not acne- safe. maybe try la roche posay, most of their products are non comedogenic and good for sensitive skin.

If your skin is breaking out with acne, try a oil free cleanser/moisturiser because the oil in your glands is contributing to the breakouts. I use La Roche Posay sunscreen, I find it is gentle and when used after a moisturiser, it can reduce breakouts.
