Revising physics at A level

I am nearing the end of my first year of A levels and am currently struggling with physics, I was wondering if there is anywhere with good quality physics revision to help improve my grade.

I’m in y12 studying OCR A Physics.

I’d recommend starting by using a RAG sheet to find your weakest topics. Relearn content through YouTube videos, textbook, and savemyexams notes (if you use incognito mode you can get them for free).

For revision material PMT is quite good, plenty of exam style questions. For mechanics, you can do the PMT solution banks meant for A Level Maths. The Online Physics Tutor is also quite good for questions.

If you’re still confused on a topic or question ask your teacher, they’re there to help you!

I have found that a level physics online, z physics, science shorts, understanding physics by dave. Are very helpful!

I am a grandparent (ex teacher) helping my g/son with his physics. Visit Dave Brumm and St Mary's Science youtube channel - they are great for understanding and practicing. The latter is good worked examples. Good luck in your studies. ranch patel

Hey I understand you may have just had a physics paper today and it's not convenient this advice is coming late but I'll try my best to help! For context, I'm a first year aerospace engineering student at QMUL.

Resources I used:

https://umutech.net/
Has A Level old spec past papers which are easier than new spec hence great to do if you think you lack a strong foundation. Just do a paper as practise for a unit (topic) you are struggling in. These were more useful leading up to exam season and helped with identifiying weak points in my knowledge and then polishing my understanding with some revision , without wasting the new spec papers.

Teaches relative to OCR spec but is still great!

These guys do amazing cheatsheets that are comprehensive and concise

This guy has some free notes for physics . Although the free notes aren't thorough, as they're snippets of his full (paid) notes after all, there were some things I had missing in mine after reading his

I have a bank of EVERY exam question for each unit ,including optional topics such as astrophysics and turning points --> if you do AQA, compiled in a google doc so message me privately if you'd like access to that! Best of luck and remember there is no point doing exam Q's if you aren't using the mark scheme AND examiners report to see the CORRECT answer but MORE importantly, where you have gone wrong, what other students did, and the logic in choosing each of the q's, correct AND incorrect options (which is sometimes explained in the examiners report)
