Busy playing Mario Party: Jamboree currently but hopefully after that and dinner I can create an Easter revision timetable.

Game Position

Update:Paused for dinner. I'm currently in 2nd Place but only have 5 turns left and I'm 3 stars behind so unlikely to win.

Thanks so much
Exciting - what courses in particular?
Good luck! Anything that helps motivate you when the procrastination hits? I find it so hard to drag myself out of it!

I find that just setting myself a time to start helps (like today, since I'm participating in this), as well as using Flora so that I have to stick with it once I've begun!

I agree with setting a study timer being useful  I find the Pomodoro technique useful for staying focused, especially if I need to seriously need to concentrate (eg if I have an exam the next day)

Got a lovely chem test tomorrow on amines and amino acids 😢 Going to do two hours recall and ppqs, then try and update some bio notes for about an hour. If I get all my notes done then for easter holidays I can just do active recall

Nah, probably Wales/England difference (which I don't actually get why there is one for school terms 😆).

TBF, I finished for Easter yesterday. My school was the only school in the area to do that though.

On a Tuesday?! That is odd. Also isn't Easter sunday like next week? I'd have thought it would have made more sense to have the holidays over then given that's it's namesake

Different counties in England have different holidays

It's because the trust my school is in had a 2 week October Half Term so we have to make up days elsewhere in the academic year. We go back on the day after Easter Monday (like most schools in the area).

I've got a few slides to do for a presentation tomorrow so I'm logging in for an hour, hour and a half. Hope everyone's having a productive afternoon

We broke up on Friday and have two weeksand a day. If we broke up much later then the term just gone would have been very long. Also it would be very tight in starting GCSE final revision sessions. Also need to fit in coursework hand ins, orals, etc
Just got home from school - will be attempting to do 3 weeks worth of content in one day
