Hey, it's completely normal to be scared and nervous 🙂 you'll be fine and you'll smash it! Just think it's four days in a much larger journey to your goal and if they've allowed you to have a placement with them, they'll likely be friendly and want to help you

Hi, I have previously worked in childcare settings and it can be very nerve-racking before starting your placement. The way I used to think about it is that after those first 30 minutes/1 hour I will know more and a lot of my worries will calm down. Also, what I find particularly useful is remembering that the focus is that I am with the baby/babies and that this is the reason I am doing the placement/job. And remember, there is always others in a similar position as you. Take it easy, have a good night rest and you will do really well 🙂

Kind regards,
Valeria.
