Confused about student finance

I am really confused I drop out during the second year of the degree and then one year later I applied to study for another degree, I unrolled on the start date of the course and student finance didn't pay the uni or me any money. I am going back to my previous uni to finish the last to years of the degree. I had a really confusing phone call with student finance they said that I need to complete a change of circumstances form but I don't know why can someone please help

Hi there,

When you login to your account is your application showing as 'approved'? If so, what's the status of your first payment, does this show as 'awaiting confirmation'?

Were you told why you needed to complete the Change of Circumstances form?

Thanks, Graeme

hi thank you for your response it says that the application has been approved and payments are scheduled, if you enrolled and unenrolled on the start of the course do you have to complete the change of circumstance form if you apply to go to a different uni, I didn't get paid any student finance and neither did the uni

Okay, thanks for clarifying.

If your course and university details need to be updated, then yes - we'd recommend completing and uploading that form as soon as you can.

That way, we can update your details: once that's done we can pay yourself and the university.

Thanks, Graeme
