Doing new A-Level in gap year

Hi i am a current year 13 nearly finishing school and I have received all my uni offers but I am wanting to completely change my course. I originally chose psychology but am wanting to switch to genetics, which involves needing chemistry which I don't do as I do psychology, biology and english lit currently. I am fine with taking a year out to do chemistry but I am wondering if i need to reject my offers to the unis I have applied to or defer the offer and change course, because I applied for Kings and still want to go there next year just fo a different course and I don't want the uni next year to reject me because I rejected them last year if thats a thing. But I am just wanting some advice as too if i reject all my offers and completely reapply next year which I don't mind doing, or I go another way about it. Any ideas much appreciated thanks :smile:

hey I don't really know what's best to do but I changed unis and reapplied to some I originally rejected and got offers from all of them so I wouldn't worry about that part of it.

I would maybe contact the universities directly and ask about changing courses, potentially email the admissions team and the course lead for the course you want to switch to. They might be able to give you an offer for a different course, or advise what you need to do.
