Been awarded maintenance loan higher than the maximum?

I was expecting to get the maximum of 10,554 but I've been awarded 10,657. Is there a reason for this or is this an error on student finance's behalf that I should point out?

For context I'll be studying at Warwick, so not in London

Your course might be considered to be a long course which might give you a slightly higher amount of entitlement. Can you confirm your course name and university please? Can you also confirm the duration of the course and when this commences?

Biomedical Science at Warwick University. I'm pretty sure each term is 30 weeks but with freshers week and move in i think id be there for closer to 31 weeks, but im not 100%. The start date on UCAS is 29th September

Thank you for confirming. This course is showing as a long course in the first year as it is over 30 weeks. You should be receiving a slightly higher entitlement.
