Manchester accommodation

i’m really struggling to find accommodation that isn’t horrifically expensive and honestly after looking for weeks, my options are pretty much left with st gabriel’s court which isn’t fully built yet and it’s stressing me out incase it won’t be finished in time, or IQ student quarter or IQ Lambert and fairfield. i’m aware of IQ not being the best but i want to know how bad they acc are bc atp i’m running out of options.

or tbh any recommendations on accommodation would be great but i fear i’ve left it too long and i’m stressing about it so i want it booked asap

Hi @sp1d3r300519

I understand this is a stressful time but please try not to worry. I would suggest contacting your university's Accommodation team as they are there to offer support and guidance and they won't want you stressing. Try giving them a call: UoM Accommodation, and I'm sure they'll be able to help.

Manchester Student Homes, a (university-run) housing service for Manchester students, are also worth contacting: MSH.

Hope this helps.
Mel 🙂

If the cheap prices is the only criteria, then there are plenty of student accommodations near Manchester Metropolitan University to choose from, such as Manchester Student Village, Moss Court, The Grafton and New Medlock House. Also, according to the online reviews, the overall rating is good, although some students encountered some problems during their residency.
