Hi!
I’m only a student but I applied for medicine this year and think the application processes are quite similar. If you haven’t, you’ll need to sit the UCAT before applying (usually in the summer).

I found this and it looks quite helpful- it’s for 2023 entry though-
https://www.dentalschoolscouncil.ac.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/DSC-Entry-Requirements-2023.pdf - but it seems that you’ll need chemistry as well as biology or at least another science for the schools that will take you without chemistry. Some dental schools may also be able to take you without a second science (may be for a course with a foundation year) so I’d look into it!

I’d also recommend looking at individual schools and their contextual offers to guide if/which A-levels you’ll need to retake. Also check which schools look at GCSEs- you may be required to get at least a 6 or in your core subjects (definitely for maths and english language) but, again, I would check for individual schools.

Finally, I’d also check which schools require you to achieve all your grades in one sitting or have higher offers for resit students but there are definitely ones that don’t! I think that Leeds may not penalise resits but don’t take my word for it.

Good luck!
