advice to avoid repeating a year

i'm retaking my gcses this year as i failed them due to bad attendance because of health problems, and i really don't want to repeat a year. is it worth it to study for year 12 over summer then join my school's sixth form for year 13? do i have enough time to pass year 12 mocks (which my sixth form will make me take in september)

Only your school can answer this - and honestly, its exceptionally unlikely that you'd be able to manage the work needed in a few weeks, or actually be allowed to do this. Btw, no-one cares how old you are when you get to Uni, if thats what you are worried about.

If you dont want to do A levels, then look at apprenticeships instead
