Here to help with Maths.

Best way to improve grades is using Traffic Lighting and then focusing on amber topics.

Hey! Nice 👌 how’s physics revision going generally?

Eh, not bad - I really don't like paper 2 compared to paper 1 but I'm managing.

Sounds challenging, but you’ve got this 💪 good luck!

Thank you! I went through the content and understand it better so I have moved on to exam questions

Tagging in all Study Together teams - welcome, how are we? Looking forward to getting lots done today? What's on the revision agenda?

Spoiler

Hoping to do some mock revision when i get home

Hello everyone!

I'll quickly introduce myself, I'm iive and I do Maths, Further Maths, CS & Psych. I think the best method of revising is practice questions; easier to identify your weaker topics & hone exam technique as well

Currently working through some Smart Revise Questions for the Data Exchange (1.3) & Boolean Algebra (1.4) units of computing

Oh my goodness Malteasers are the ultimate study snack! I’ve got a chocolate chip cookie here keeping me going 🙌

And I definitely think so - do you use snacks as more reward or to keep you going? I’m always so torn 😂 I want to eat it all straight away

Amazing, hope your revision goes well today - are these topics you enjoy or do you need some motivation?

Thank you! Boolean Algebra is quite a nice topic since it's looking at logic gates and binary, etc. 1.3 is ok but there's a lot to remember 🥲

Not much tbh, I'll probably check whether this youtuber I watch, Stephanie Soo, has posted a new MOTS video; her content is so entertaining 😂

Oooh nice! Not heard of her so I’ll have to check it out 👌
I am making a start on a sociology paper. It's an AS paper and I do the A-Level, but I still find it useful to work through the AS papers to consolidate knowledge :work:

Hiya!
Awesome - hope revision goes well today 😊
Ahh that’s great advice - short and crisp notes sounds *chefs kiss*
I love a past paper personally!

Thanks
Haha! I try compiling them from the beginning of the year. Doing it towards the end is… 😬
Past papers do the job well! :yep:

TSR Study Together General Session - STEM vs Humanities
Session Three 16th April 2025
Welcome to the third general session of TSR Study Together STEM vs Humanities!
This is a social and supportive place to study alongside other students and keep yourself motivated You can find more info on how it works here and it’s open to everyone! So to kick off, let us know your goal for this evening's study session and introduce yourself if you haven't already. @Evil Homer and I will be checking in throughout the evening and we'll be handing out the rep points to attendees tomorrow
Today's icebreaker is: What is the best method of revising?
Good luck all!

This is the first time I've actually been here on time loll, I'm going to do as chem past paper (maybe 2 if I speedrun it). I think the best method of revising is past papers definitely, or maybe blurting
