Thank you. If you only have one year of previous study since leaving school then you'd be funded for your new course. Thanks, Jason

How would I approach this then on my current application dated 2024 so then they would know that in september 2025 I will be at a new uni as a first year

Hi there, that is correct, you just make the application as normal, but for the new course at the new university. Application are currently estimated for 6-8 weeks once submitted. Thanks, Stephen.

Hi there,

If you're withdrawing from your current course, the university would need to send a change of circumstances to us to confirm this. You would then need to apply as a new student on a PN1 Form found here https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/67ae2bf0a75f02dffca29b1f/sfe_pn1_form_2526_o.pdf

This form needs to be posted back to us, the address is on the form. Applications can take 6-8 weeks to process once we have everything. If you have a current application already, we will cancel this when we receive the PN1 Form.

If you're finishing this year and not withdrawing, you can amend the application you currently have for 25/26. If you click on view/manage your application, change your application and course details. If it doesn't let you do this online, it will give you the option to complete the CO1 Change of Circumstances Form to complete and upload under the evidence upload option.

Thanks,
Claire

Hi there,

I have already submitted by 25/26 application to the new Uni whilst im still in my old one as my classes finish in a month and then when this year finishes I will then withdraw in my first year as I'm moving to a new uni and restarting my first year . So surely if I do that then it won't be problematic?

Hi there,

If you've reapplied for 25/26 and your current university sends us over a 'withdrawal' then you'll need to send us a PN1 form via post so we can assess you as a new student because the previous application was withdrawn. If you complete the full year at the current university and then just transfer then this won't be classed as 'withdrawn' so we don't require a new application or anything further and you'll be classed still as a returning student. Thanks, Jason

Hi
if I finish my current year at my current uni then submit the withdrawl form I have already been accepted into my new university and completed my new student fiance application stating i am continuing my studies for the New university so everything seems to be confirmed. It won't be seen as a transfer as there will be no credits to take over this is just me restarting as a first year back to the start but at somewhere else

Thanks. It would then be as advised above if the university are classing it as a withdrawal. Thanks, Jason
