Hi I am wanting to apply for computer science through ucas extra for BCU I am wondering if I have to make a revised personal statement or if I can apply without it. Since my original personal statement for ucas has nothing to do with computer science.

Hi @Natalia-12

I've spoken to our admissions team and they would recommend submitting a new personal statement for Computer Science, you can email it to [email protected] once you have applied and admissions will attach it to your application to review.

I hope that helps and good luck!

Hi @Natalia-12

You may be able to apply for a different course at BCU/the same uni through Extra, it depends on the university and course. You can always contact the uni's admissions team to see if they'll consider you.

Hi there,

My apologies, I was going off general information. If the admissions team have told you differently, then their advice will be the most up to date and accurate, so please consider their response as the answer to your question.

Hi @Joyce king

I believe you can apply now if your course starts in January, I can't find this information online so I'm tagging a couple of reps from the Student Finance England team so that one of them verify this for you as they're the experts 🙂 @SFE Jason @SFE Clare @Graeme SFE
