Hello, we’re Walbrook Institute London.
You’ll remember us as LIBF. It’s nice to meet you again.
You probably have a few questions for us and we’re happy to answer them.
Why Walbrook?
It's a great question. Like our institution, Walbrook is in the heart of London. It’s a hidden underground river flowing below the City of London, just a couple of streets away from our offices and campus. It’s shaped the city but has also been shaped by its inhabitants too.
Why have you renamed?
Just like Walbrook, LIBF is a historic part of the City of London that not everyone has heard of. We’ve been flowing and adapting into something that reflects our heritage in the banking and finance, while also growing into a leading higher education institution.
That’s why we need a new name. To reflect our new offering of modern subjects for our HE students. We’re committed to developing skills needed by employers, with a modern flexible approach to learning.
We’ll still be offering our well-respected professional qualifications in banking and finance under our LIBF name as part of the Walbrook Institute London. Like streams running into a river, it’s all connected to our main route
We love the story behind Walbrook and want to bring it back into the open. We hope you love it too.
