Uof Aberdeen - MSc in Data Science or Finance, which programme/faculty is better?

I have carefully read through all modules for each programme and considered specifically between MSc Data Science or MSc Finance and Investment Management.

My priorities are:
- Employability within Scotland (no need for visa sponsorship)
- Disregarding the curriculum as I have alrd researched, overall, is Aberdeen a better experience for Data or Finance? (Subject ranking, Faculty, Difficulty of actual learning materials, Additional opportunities, etc.)

FYI, I am an international student who just graduated from a BBA Accounting and Finance in Japan without any full-time work experience. I do have 3 internships in Japan and SEA in venture capital and M&A. I would hope to work in business analytics or anything similar to my previous internships.

Thank you in advance!

Hello, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Thank you for getting in contact! I can't speak much on the employability specifically but we do have a Careers and Employability Service who you can contact on [email protected] with any questions. They offer a range of services including one-on-one sessions to discuss your career paths or practice interviews, and have a range of resources both online and in person to help you with finding the right job for you after your studies. It is a service that will be available to you throughout your studies and for the rest of your life should you want to use it. You can find out more information on them here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/careers/
I hope this is helpful to know!
