I need help choosing

I recently started a new job at Manchester Airport as a Customer Service Ambassador for MAG. It’s been a week of training so far, but I’ve now been offered a role with Jet2 as a Passenger Service Agent.

I need some honest advice—what’s the better option?

I know I’ve already started with MAG and have begun getting to know the team, but since it’s still a new job, I don’t feel strongly attached to either yet. I just want to make the right decision based on factors like management, colleagues, benefits, and overall experience.

Please don’t give me generic advice—I’m genuinely open to both roles. If I had been with MAG for 3-4 months, I wouldn’t even consider switching, but since I’m still in training, I feel like now is the time to decide before it’s too late.

I really like MAG so far, but I applied for Jet2 because I thought I’d enjoy that as well. One role is with the airport, and the other is with an airline, so they’re slightly different.

Has anyone worked for Jet2 or been in a similar situation? I know sticking with my current job seems like the logical choice, but since both roles involve training, I’m technically still at the same stage either way.

Would love to hear your thoughts—thanks!

Probably not, MAG is 20 hours contract and jet2 30 hours. So they will probably clash at some time

Hi,
Sorry this is unrelated to your query, but I have a Jet2 PSA interview coming up and just wanted to ask what questions may I expect them to ask, and how you were successful in receiving an offer for the role. Many thanks!

What are they both like hours and pay wise?
Is one of the jobs better hours or pay than the other?

The jet2 one might be better in that its more hours?
I know you might be able to do more hours than the minimum of 20/30 per week, but the 30 hour a week one is guaranteed more to start with.

I spoke to few ex jet2 employees and they advised me not to take the job. As the environment and management was really toxic. All of the former employees had the same thing to say. Only good thing was the team you work with. Anyways I took the Mag Job. But thank you
