Best exam tips for mechanics (A Level maths)

Does anyone have any really helpful tips / methods they stick by when doing mechanics questions ? Anything for moments, pulleys, projectiles , friction + forces would be MUCH APPRECIATED!😅😅😅

Large diagrams are useful so you can see angles clearly. Mark forces clearly -

If it's tricky draw a piccy! After drawing out the scenario with forces and all u need to decide what to do. I always start by resolving horizontal and vertical forces as that normally becomes useful and is required for most moments/pulleys/friction.
The same goes for projectiles - resolve the horizontal and vertical velocities and write down all the suvat information you know in both directions!
