Reccomend books to prepare you for the PAT and general advice for material science

Has anyone got any books, tips or tricks that helped you prepare for the PAT and even better for material science to help me stand out for an application to Oxford?

The classic is Mark Miodownwik’s ‘Stuff Matters’, Philip Ball’s ‘Made to Measure’, is aslo worth reading ; as where the former deals with everyday materials, Ball mainly focuses on those left unseen, such as those inside semiconductors or batteries.

Thanks a lot , Ive heard a lot about stuff matters but will definitely read 'made to measure' as I'm currently reading Susanna spillers' 'superconductors- what makes them super' which I'm finding really interesting at the moment

For physics in general, Professor Povey’s Perplexing Physics Problems is really good!
