I just met this guy, and he is really interesting and I am constantly waiting for him to message me. My GCSES are next month so i need to focus but I cannot. What should I do?

Wow I was expecting the topic to be substance abuse 😂😂😂

Be honest with them, you love talking to him but are struggling with the self control side of things. Probably will be best to wait until they're over before talking with him if you're struggling that much with self control. There may be plenty of other guys in the future, but your exams are few and far between.

Best option, stop waiting. I understand it’s not as simple as “stop waiting”! I’ve been in a similar experience, and if I could go back, I would’ve stopped hanging around. If you see yourself as neglecting your work, stop being online or talking to him until your work is over. Best of luck with your exams tho!

When I had my final A-levels coming up, I got totally distracted texting this guy I had just started seeing. It felt exciting and new, but my grades definitely took a hit. After a bit, I started putting my phone away during study blocks and told him I’d message after revision—it helped me stay focused without fully cutting things off. Exams are temporary, and honestly, if it’s something real, he’ll still be around after.
I struggled with focus before when I had more serious stuff going on, and having proper help made a huge difference. I had a good experience at Abbeycare during a rough period, they helped me get back on track when life felt way too off balance.
