Pausing Studies
I am suffering with mental health, and my adhd is just ridiculous.
I had a breakdown in June but went back to my 3rd year in September. Now I'm almost at the end. I'm months behind everyone, and haven't even started my dissertation which is due 2nd May.
I was diagnosed dyslexic recently also.
I did some OU courses in the past but didn't even start them. I've no idea what I was playing at! On my sfe it says "suspended" but I've got full SFE for my current degree.
I've also done a higher education diploma in 2010 for Access to Nursing. Completed that one.
My question is if I pause my studies until September and start again with a are care plan in place will they still pay my sfe even though I've cancelled on 2 OU courses? I didn't even start. And they pay per module, rather than year like they do at brick uni. You don't get maintained payments from OU.
I dont wanna pause and not be able to afford to get back on the course.
But I can't continue this year.
I hate my head.

Hi there,
Is the course you are currently on a Part Time or Full Time undergraduate course? How many years of Part Time have been paid for? If you have studied Full Time how many years have been paid for?

This is a ft course. And I've done 2 modules in OU, restarted same course twicv
Ive but not completed first module.
Sfe said as they were pt i will get a gift year to resit 3rd year.
I've set the wheels in motion. Applied to hull to resit.
Worried though as I won't get sfe now until September.
