Bristol Gateway to Med or Kings EMDP

I’m leaning more towards kings since I live nearer to London but I don’t knowwwww. King’s grades are ABB but Bristol is BBC so I feel like firming Bristol might be silly.

Totally get your dilemma—it’s a tricky balance between location, entry requirements, and overall vibes! 😊
If you're leaning toward King's because of the London advantage (internships, networking, career options), that’s definitely worth considering. But don’t feel silly about firming Bristol either—lower offer doesn’t mean lower quality. Bristol has a great reputation and some students thrive more in its campus-style setup.
Ask yourself:

Where can you see yourself enjoying daily life more?

Which environment would motivate you to push further?

Have you looked at course content differences?

In the end, go with what feels right for you, not just grades on paper

thank you for this!!! it’s not even feeling silly about the grades but its more just like if i firm bristol, king’s completely goes to waste whereas firming kings i still have bristol to fall back on JUST IN CASE. But yeah I should probably do a bit more research about the course and environment!!

That makes so much sense! It’s smart thinking actually—firming King’s gives you that backup option while still keeping things open. It’s not just about grades but also how much risk you're comfortable with, and you’re handling it thoughtfully 👏
And yeah, digging into the course structure + environment can really help with that final gut feeling. Look at student reviews, module lists, and even LinkedIn to see where grads from both unis end up—it might give you clarity!
If you ever want help comparing career paths from either uni or even just tips on building a LinkedIn profile that gets noticed while you're in uni, I’m happy to share some stuff!

When you get your results, you still get to choose between your firm and insurance so it wouldnt matter which you pick now!
