Ucl clearing 2025

I got a Warwick Law offer and already achieved A*AA last year. Now I'm on a gap year, but I don’t want to move out, and I think Warwick is a sh1t uni. Should I enter clearing? I was hoping to apply for UCL's 'Comparative Literature' course since they had it available in clearing last year, so hopefully, they’ll do it again this year. I want to go into law, so if I did this, I’d have to do the LPC.

You would have to do a GDL not a LPC, you cant do a LPC.

Technically speaking to become a solicitor you don't need to do a GDL at all, just pass the SQE. Whether one can pass the SQE without doing a GDL or equivalent, is another matter.

Yes I am aware you don't need to OP is free to not do the GDL, any hope of him passing is practically none if he chooses not to.

Sorry I meant GDL my bad - but I read now it’s being phased out so I wouldn’t have to do any type of conversion course ?

You will need to do the PGDL (conversion course) then the SQE. If you get a training contract your firm will pay for both.
