Can these two courses open the same/similar opportunities?

My course at my firm choice university is a BSc in Mathematics & Philosophy, and I was wondering if this would still open the same opportunities for postgraduate study in Mathematics compared to if I did a degree in just Mathematics? Thank you!

yes as long as you have taken the right modules. There might be some worry that with compulsory philosophy options taking up a significant number of credits, you might struggle to take all the maths modules you need (mainly for a taught masters, so you can understand all the courses you want to take and also convince admissions tutors that you can do so. For a PhD you just need a sympathetic supervisor who will give you time to catch up over the summer), but if you're very careful you should be able to make it work. I'd imagine with enough and the right philosophy modules you could also get a philosophy masters or PhD as well.
