Any other girls get offended?

Hey there, I’m 5”1. I honestly don’t mind my height and it doesn’t really have any major disadvantages other than being able to see in concerts etc. I’m aware online there are loads of reels etc where most guy say they prefer shorter/average girls (<5”5) however in the comments there will be people saying “so you want a child?” which really irks me as I don’t think it’s fair to compare shorter girls to children just because you got offended by the reel. I don’t think people are aware that 50% of women are 5”4 and below so you are essentially calling half the female population a child. I understand tall girl get a load of crap online from guys and I don’t support it but there’s no need to make short girls feel insecure by comparing them to children.

Idk if i’m able to talk since im 5’4, so I haven’t had this happen to me, but it’s definitely weird. I feel like if they start narrowing it down to saying “I need a girl who’s short, younger than me, has no body hair, does childish things, etc.”, then the response “so you want a child?” makes sense. otherwise, it makes no sense, I agree with you.

Yeah I suppose it’s weird when they say stuff like that. It also kind of irks me when people say in the comments that girls under 5”6 aren’t “allowed to date” tall guys. Like excuse me who made you the height police 😭.
