The Student Room Group

Take over tenancy from 3rd May to 30th August

I am currently staying in a ground floor studio provided by Homes for Students Canalside in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.

It is kept exceptionally clean as I barely spend time there and I never wear shoes inside. The bathroom is in good condition and clean, the kitchen too - the stove/microwave and hob are brand new - had to literally remove the wrapping when i moved in in September (2024). Comes with a built in wardrobe, a queen bed (otherwise known as a small double or a three-quater bed) and a built in desk. There is plenty of storage in cabinets above the kitchen and a floating shelf above the desk. All floorings and surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned.

The pictures shown look exactly like my room, same layout, same everything, pretty sure they were taken in the same room haha

It is close to all the big universities in town - every uni is max a 15 minute walk away. Within 15 minutes walk distance there are also 2 Tesco's, a Sainsbury's, a Co-op, Aldi, and on the corner of the road there is a Nisa that works 9am to 11pm during the week, 11am to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The room is £200 a week which is around £800 a month - it is paid in 3 instalments over the year which means you would only need to pay one instalment until the contract ends of £3,383 upfront.

It only allows for 1 tenant, you cannot share it with another individual, and you will probably be asked to provide proof of being a student and a UK guarantor.

Please contact me if you have any questions and/or would like to start the process of taking over the lease
