UCL Applicant Status Change

Hi, I'm an international student from Sydney who had applied to study History of Art at UCL in 2025. For context I have applied on the 23rd of September, and have submitted my final grades in late December (when I received them) and have been waiting since.

My application status on UCL Portico just changed from 'Application Received' to 'Currently being processed by Admissions.' I was wondering how long it usually takes before I hear back on my applications once the status has changed. Also, does the status change often result in an offer? As I haven't seen anyone who's status has changed to this and received an 'unsuccessful' result yet (I might be totally wrong on that though, it's just a personal observant.) I really don't want to get my hopes up, as it is quite late in the application timeline, and it often results in rejections at this point but UCL is my absolute dream school and it would mean so much to me if I receive an offer. Thanks!

Hi, i think you should be getting a decision in less than 5 hours or so. Though, I've seen some ppl with rejections in previous years after this type of status changes. Anyways, I hope you hear good news

That means you should have decision in roughly 24 hrs, it was the same thing for me before my offer came in
