Appealing a decision or asking for another course
Has anyone appealed a decision or successfully asked for a place on another course by approaching admissions directly? I thought I had seen a thread on this somewhere but can'r find it now.

Yes I have changed 3 out of 5 courses from graphic design to architecture with a mixture of pre and post decision. Including uni of Manchester, Kingston and NTU.

Yes I also offered an alternative personal statement and portfolio in the email.

Ring first. It will save time. If they say that isn’t something they will do over the phone then you don’t have to wait weeks for a reply to an email.
If they say it is something that they will consider then you can ask them for details about what they need from you (an email to the right address with your full name, UCAS ID, date of birth and current course, the course you want to be considered for…and if they ask for it a new PS, additional work/portfolio etc)
