Kings Medicine - should I cancel my application

I'm still waiting for an interview at Kings and I rang them and they said they were still considering my application a week ago. But it's pretty late and I have honestly lost hope that I'll get one, especially with how there's only a month until the UCAS deadline. Kings is my top choice but I have offers from Leeds, Newcastle and Queen's Belfast and I don't want to be late to book accomodation. Leeds is my second choice and I really do love the uni and the city.

Would it be wise to firm Leeds and forget Kings so I can start booking accomodation or should I just wait until the UCAS deadline like Kings have advised? (they said they would reply before then but I've heard that in previous years they've let UCAS autoreject a lot of people before they heard back)

Just wait, realistically if it’s your first choice you should wait and apparently accommodation isn’t based on first come first serve. I’m in a similar position, I have an offer from Leeds but waiting on Leicester but more for personal satisfaction, I am certain on going Leeds haha.

Hahah okay that's fair then. I might do the same

I applied for international political economy and was told that I was on the waiting list and would get a final decision by the end of June. KCL is also my first choice, but it is really unpredictable whether I would be able to get an offer eventually. I even postponed the deposit deadline for Bristol University to wait for KCL. I think if you really want to go to KCL, you can wait a bit longer because in previous years, offers were also made in May/June.
