do you take Edexcel? For AQA socialism is paper 3 so it won't appear in paper 1

EU not ideal but the question itself wasn’t that awful - rest of the paper was okay can’t imagine many people did the MP essay

Quite good but kinda ran out of time and had to rush my 9 markers at the end which was annoying

I definitely would've done the MP question but I could only remember 2 of the theories of representation so I did the other one instead and could only remember devolution😭😭

yeah I agree I just had to take time to actually comprehend it came up haha. My teacher didn't teach EU at all so I had to teach myself and thank god I revised it early today. ended up talking about rising Euroscepticism and the rise of UKIP, dividing Britain through Brexit and how PM may adopt EU policy like Blair wanted to adopt the Euro

the other two nine markers were nice though although I would've been judicial independence over Judicial impartiality

yeah I did the MP question just because I did a nine marker on it earlier today. It was nice although I was struggling to think of examples for mandate theory.

overall the paper was solid but I feel like the questions could've been a bit nicer

Thought the extract question was worded a bit funny, had second thoughts about halfway through what they meant by 'UK party system' rather than just a general discussion of FPTP

I thought the paper was pretty good generally. Was struggling to think of a third power of the PM though. I said about appointing the cabinet and passing legislation, and for my third I talked about international agreements.

International agreements works I think. What did everyone put for judicial impartiality? I feel like I messed up lol

High experience and time on the bench required, Impartial and independent JAC, and pay/tenure is secure till 75 I think
