edinburgh university accomodation

what are the best accommodations for self catered? which ones are easiest to make friends in etc?

currently thinking about
1. salisbury court
2. fraser court
3. darroch court
4. hermits croft
5. morgan court
so any insight into these would be appreciated!

Out of those 5, probs Salisbury. It’s quite close of pollock and near campus so there’s a lot of people around, tho it is pretty expensive. I stay at Brae and we’re a bit far from campus if u walk but it’s very sociable here. I’ve heard that darroch court and Morgan court has rats if that’s something u want to take into consideration btw
