Hi, I am currently conflicted between my uni degrees and im unsure which career path I want to take, I currently do maths chemistry and economics a level and applied for pure chemistry at unis in London. I applied for chem because I was unsure what I wanted to do at university and it was a degree that was versatile in employability. But now im not too keen on studying chemistry and think that pharmacy may be a better fit for me because of the security in the job and it seems more enjoyable and it still has chemistry in it, but the only way I can enroll into pharmacy now is through clearing or gap year. I still would like to go uni this year but im not too sure if I can. If I stick through with chemistry I have a lot more ambiguity in jobs and I don't know if that's very good because I don't have a structured career path, than if I take a gap year and apply for pharmacy. I don't want to enroll in university with any regrets. Please help !!
