is seneca good for revision??

hii doing my gcses , and currently im mostly using seneca to learn content before i move onto some past papers, but i need to know if im just wasting my time or not, and if i’d benefit more from watching videos or reading the content and making posters/mindmaps/ect. this is mostly for sciences !
i’m pretty bright, and generally i understand the content once it’s been taught to me, so it’s mostly just a matter of recall and such, and i just need to know if there’s something more effective. would appreciate video reccommendations or anything else u think could help ! thank you

I used seneca especially for history and went from a grade 4 to 7 in the real exam (I used mindmaps etc aswel) but seneca helped me quickly recap content.
I used it for all my subjects and found it really helpful to give me a general overview, similary for science I watched science shorts on youtube and made notes from them which was super helpful for an overview and then immediately answering ppqs to consolidate.

Hi @meowmeowkat

I think there is an element of personal preference with this. For me, I used Seneca as part of my revision as I found it an engaging way to quickly review some of the content. However, I also found it important to use other revision strategies such as making mindmaps, watching videos and answering questions. If you are mainly using Seneca then it is important that you check that it covers all of the content that you need to know for your specific exam board.

Hope that helps!
