Queen's University Belfast help ! Scottish student

Hello! I'm planning on attending QUB in 2025 for english and french (thats if i meet the conditions; if not i'm off to my insurance) anyway I am a Scottish student and have actually only been to belfast once but fell in love with the city and the course so decided to go there over my offers from St Andrews and Edinburgh. However I am quite nervous about being in a city so far away from home (Glasgow) where no one i know is going. Im also scared i wont enjoy the uni and regret my choices so pls pls pls can i have some reassurance 🙏

Belfast is a wonderful friendly place. Queens is a super university and the flights can be really quite cheap to Glasgow and last no more than half an hour. I went the other way round many years ago and ended up at Aberdeen uni. I had to get the boat and two trains - it took all day! I left N.I. to avoid sharing a room with my sister as I lived so close to Belfast. The Belfast of today is a fun, lively city with so much to do. You’ll easily make friends. Don’t worry and go for it. I wish my daughter would go to Queens, she’s headed to St Andrews.
