was anyone confused after that conscience question. i did it, but the wording felt insanely weird. it was about the religious approach, so aquinas, but then included both the conscience and the superego. the superego is a feature of freud so i was like HUH wdym religious. anyways i just like compared them both and said freud was more successful that a religious approach

The way I interpreted it is like this ‘ does God act within the process of conscience’ with the link to Freud and the super-ego I argues that God does not act within the process of conscience rather that conscience can be explained more rationally through psychological and sociological explanation.
The thinkers I mentioned were Freud, Piaget, Aquinas and Newman
