masters funding

Hi,

I am a UK national and am applying for masters courses for 2025 entry. I was wondering: does the amount of funding SFE give you depend on the cost of the masters program? For example, if I apply to a one year MSc that costs £15,000, and another one year MSc that costs £5,000, will SFE give me more funding if I go for the expensive masters, and less funding if I go for the cheaper masters?

Thank you.

Hi Daphne!

The amount that SFE can give you is capped,

This year, the maximum amount of money you could receive was £12,471.

I am unsure as to whether this changes year by year, but essentially the masters you chose is independent of the maximum amount of money that you will receive!

hope that helps
